Best PSG-Approved Accounting Automation Platforms for Singapore SMEs 2026
---

Update, October 2026: PSG has been replaced by EDGE.

On 30 September 2026, the Productivity Solutions Grant (PSG) was replaced by a new Enterprise Singapore grant called EDGE. The Enterprise Development Grant and Market Readiness Assistance were replaced at the same time. One grant now covers all three, across eight business areas — from automation and digitalisation through to internationalisation and sustainability. EDGE is not an acronym: Enterprise Singapore states that the name conveys the intent of the support, which is for enterprises to have an edge over their competitors.

For a finance automation project, the funding works out much the same as before. Support levels differ by activity. EDGE covers up to 50% of qualifying cost for SMEs on automation and digitalisation activities, within a S$30,000 annual limit on single-function digital solutions, integrated enterprise systems and pre-scoped equipment, and inside an overall limit of S$100,000 in total grant support per year across all activities. The higher 70% level applies only to internationalisation and sustainability activities, not to software. You still need a business entity registered and operating in Singapore with at least 30% local shareholding, and you still apply through the Business Grants Portal using Corppass. Retrospective applications are not supported, so the application must be submitted before any work begins or any payment is made. Grant support is disbursed on a reimbursement basis: you fund the project first, then submit a claim once it is completed and fully paid for.

If you applied for PSG on or before 29 September 2026, or your project is already approved, it continues under its original terms and is supported through to completion and claim disbursement — so the guidance below still applies to you. If you are starting a new application, read our guide to the EDGE grant for finance automation instead.
